Mortgage Rescue
In early September 2008, the government announced plans to develop a national Mortgage Rescue scheme to help some of the most vulnerable households facing repossession to stay in their homes. The scheme is aimed at those who would be eligible for homelessness assistance and will be subject to a range of eligibility criteria.
